Writing good prose means to dissolve yourself from the writing. And that's a daunting task when you realise the enormity of what this asks of the writer. It can be tempting to fall back into what is essentially a form of lying instead of letting the story tell itself. But readers feel the difference.

William's first novel (Summons of the Fall) explores the subject of psychological collapse and reinvention from a dual-protagonist point of view.

​

It is simultaneously a study on gender differences with regards to Self-expression in modern times, and an exploration into the endless (and often un-lived) possibilities that live in us.

This is not purely entertainment— the intent is to get readers engaged by weaving difficult questions with rewarding answers.

William's essays are didactic exercises focusing on the topic of "Congruence"; or how aligned one's way of life is, and what the transformational process requires of us in order to achieve.

 

Essay writing is a type of research method for William. It's another way of putting ideas in conversation with one another for later use in fiction or in helping others attack problems from different angles.
